TradingView brokers in the UK

TradingView brokers let you place trades straight from a chart by logging in to your account. TradingView only supplies the charts. Your UK broker holds your cash, fills your orders and sets your spreads. We list each firm's regulatory status, loss rate and pricing for you.

Each firm sits in A to Z order, with none ranked above another. Each broker's own figures are shown, along with the date we read them.

TradingView broker integration and login

Your account connects inside the chart screen, so you don't send any money to TradingView. To begin, you'll need a demo account or a live account at a supported broker that is FCA regulated.

With your login ready, load a chart on TradingView, then click the Trading Panel tab along the bottom edge. Next, choose your firm, then sign in using your broker password.

When you connect a TradingView broker, their live pricing and order system link straight to your charts. Shown along the bottom of the screen are your cash balance, your open positions and your margin level. From there you can buy or sell directly on the price scale.

Which brokers can you use with TradingView?

The list of TradingView brokers UK traders can connect to covers ActivTrades, Capital.com, CMC Markets, FxPro, IC Markets, IG, Pepperstone, Spreadex and Vantage. Every one of these firms offers CFDs, spread betting and forex, apart from IC Markets.

A CFD is a contract: you trade on price changes and never own the asset itself. With spread betting, you stake a set amount for every point of movement, and profits come out tax free. Alongside their own apps, most connected firms also offer MetaTrader 4, MT5 or cTrader.

Several other UK firms don't link to TradingView, running only on their own software. With eToro, Plus500, Trading 212 or XTB, your trades happen on the web platform or app they run.

Pricing, loss rates, FRN and FCA status

Client money protection and your legal agreement come from the broker's UK entity rather than TradingView. Each authorised firm holds an FRN: a unique registration number on the register of the Financial Conduct Authority.

The retail loss rate tells you what share of a broker's everyday clients lose money trading CFDs. Using TradingView charts doesn't change your leverage limits or margin rules. Your risk of losing money doesn't change.

Your trading costs come from your broker's fee schedule too. The broker's spread is what you pay: the difference between the buy price and the sell price on each trade. Your broker may also charge an overnight financing fee or a commission, depending on your account. TradingView adds nothing to your spreads, but it does sell optional chart plans for extra indicators.

Common questions answered

Is a broker required on TradingView?

Watching prices, drawing on charts or practising with TradingView's paper trading simulator doesn't need a broker. Link a brokerage account only when you're ready for live trades or a broker's own demo feed.

Does TradingView act as a trading broker?

No, it's a website for charts and market research, and TradingView isn't a financial firm. No cash of yours is ever held by it, and it never sets your margin rules or takes the opposite side of your trade.

Is it possible to connect my broker to TradingView?

Only a firm with a live link built into the TradingView Trading Panel can be connected. If your firm isn't on that list, you're still able to analyse charts on TradingView and place trades through your broker's own app.
