Privacy policy

Privacy policy rules on forex-brokers.co.uk are simple because you can read every page without giving us your name or email address. You don't need an account or a password. We collect no forms, set no advertising cookies and only count visits on our own first-party page-view counter.

What we record when you visit

You can browse this site without sharing a name, a phone number, a home address or an email address. No page includes a login box or signup form.

Nothing we collect covers your personal finances, your bank balances or your trading history. The figures you enter in our pip calculator or margin calculator aren't linked to you. Your visit remains anonymous throughout.

Are cookies or third-party scripts used on this site?

Your device doesn't receive advertising cookies, and third-party scripts aren't loaded during your visit. A website saves a cookie in your browser: it's a small text file used to recognise the phone or computer you use.

Code from other companies makes up third-party scripts, which track your browsing across various websites to display advertisements. Only our own first-party page-view counter is used, which provides a basic tally that we run ourselves. No ad network receives your reading history. You can read more on how the site operates in our disclosure and do not sell pages.

Why we count page views and keep logs

We count page views to learn which tax guides, broker records and calculators you find useful. We also use those counts to spot broken links.

UK data law lets us rely on a legitimate interest in keeping the site running and fixing it for this tally. Nothing in those totals identifies you, and we keep them for measuring site traffic only. We erase basic server logs as soon as they aren't needed for keeping the website safe.

Which rights do you have under UK GDPR?

The UK law protecting your personal data and giving you control over how organisations use it is UK GDPR. You may request a copy of your data, and you may also ask us to fix mistakes. You may also request deletion of your information or object to its use.

Because you don't make an account or send forms, we don't keep a personal file under your name. Email contact@forex-brokers.co.uk with any question about what we hold, or if you want to raise a data request. If you aren't happy with how your data is handled, the Information Commissioner's Office is where you can complain.
